has anyone else seen this?
i've got a fairly poor (but watchable) copy of this, and from what i've heard, there are no versions that exist with subtitles. it's a fairly easy to follow film, but i'm trying to find a better quality version of it, or maybe one with subtitles.

Re: Jodorowsky's "Tusk"
Thu, October 19, 2006 - 3:31 PMRumor has it that Jodorowsky destroyed all prints of this film. I saw a terrible VHS copy too with a French woman who translated. The most unique aspect were the action scenes done with huge lumbering elephants. The sight of so many elephants was certainly spectacular though — didn't expect so many. When the "Dune" project fell though Jodorowsky did Tusk, probably as a way to just keep working. It's a children's movie really and completely different than what he was known for. -
